Okay, so we’ve gotten our hands on the golden goose New Zealand hops, we’ve done the big celebration beer with purely NZ hops, where do we go from there? We start making some new champions league combinations to add to our arsenal! We’ve been clamouring for almost our entire history for Nelson Sauvin, and for good reason – the crushed gooseberry, white wine grape, and passionfruit notes positively bursting from this hop lend themselves so well to one of our scaled up, maxed out DDH pales. We’ve taken this one up to the next level though by introducing Polly’s stalwart Citra to proceedings, adding an extra level of intense grapefruit, peach and melon notes to the party; creating what we feel is a new level for our DDH pale ales.
