We're massive fans of sour IPAs here at Polly's; the balance between hoppy and sour is an incredibly difficult line to walk, often weighted towards one or the other. We deducted the balance lies in a fruit addition to counteract the two, and dumped a massive 160kg of passionfruit into this beer, which was dry-hopped with Columbus at a rate of one of our regular Augment IPAs and sour pitched. The result? A hop bomb of an IPA with extra passionfruit juice, and just a subtle hint of sourness running throughout. Awesome.
