We have launched our new 7.1% West Coast IPA, Sal-Amanda! It has been brewed to celebrate the 40th birthdays of two very special women, in my life.
The 27th September marks the birthday of my late sister, Amanda, who was always super supportive when we started the brewery and always on hand to help. Then November 26th marks the birthday of my partner, Sally, who lovingly puts up with my obsession with all things beers and brewing and never complains about all the time I spend away from home.
It seemed fitting to incorporate Nelson Sauvin hops in the brew, as a subtle nod to the pair’s previous wine drinking escapades!
