Product Details

Rise and Shine is our core range Stout. Brewed with coffee from our friends Outpost Coffee Roasters from just round the corner in Lenton. Coffee dominates the flavour profile of this smooth easy drinking stout, with the body rounded off with generous lactose additions. Subtle hints of vanilla and sweet biscuit perfectly finish off this 5.2% breakfast stout.

We are a microbrewery based in Nottingham. We first starting brewing at the Flowerpot in Derby in 2011 before relocating to Basford, Nottinghamshire in 2014 in the old Shipstone’s brewery premises. Black Iris is fast becoming legendary in Nottingham but our beers can be found as far afield as Yorkshire, Cheshire, Birmingham and more. We’ve got “consistently strong artwork” from Kev Grey and have been known to put on rowdy parties with our ‘Piss Up In A Brewery’ nights. We brew beers with passion, quality ingredients and a punk rock aesthetic.
