There’s just something about our beers when they’re just a whisper above that 6% mark – punchy, but not head blowing strength. Supercharged with the freshest hops, but not overwhelmingly so. Pillowy on the mouthfeel, but not cloying. Magic Scope has our brewers letting their hair loose and doing what they do best; bringing the latest crops of Motueka and Loral fresh from New Zealand and the United States respectively to create a thoroughly hop-forward modern IPA. Expect a kaleidoscope of flavour from these two incredible varietals – think floral, peppery and herbal noble hop characteristics backed up with dark fruits and citrus from the Loral, before Motueka takes those lemon and lime citrus notes and brings a swag back of tropical notes to the party.

Since launching in early 2018 we have grown and adapted our setup to form a small but tight-knit team of ten running the day to day operations of the brewery.
