Believe it or not, Arron is big on Mediterranean culture; and when we were looking for a name for our newest Augment beer, he suggested a reference to the Morphou region of Cyprus, famed for its citrus fruits, of which our beers pack the flavour profiles to the nines with. We noticed looking at a map of the region, a little village called Kyra jumped out at us, and a name was born. We delved a little deeper, and discovered a meaning of the name literally translating from the Ancient Egyptian “like Ra” or “Beam of Light”. This beer completely fits its translation; pure sunshine trapped in a glass to remind you of dear, departed summer.
