When you’re stuck for inspiration, sometimes it’s best to just look at the masters and how they do it. We were absolutely blown away by a gifted can of Nelson + Simcoe by New York hop gods Other Half. Wanting to throw our hat into the circle to pit ourselves against Brooklyn’s best, our brew team have brought Expression Form to the party. Wanting to replicate that signature Other Half style, but reeled back to a more refined ABV, we’ve replicated the water profile of these stateside slammers and used only the freshest crops of Nelson Sauvin and Simcoe we could get our hands on to produce a beer that is positively bursting with dank gooseberry and white wine notes, backed up with creamy pineapple sweetness. With a heavy lashing of our house LA3 strain to bring everything together, this is a full on, all out, straight up Polly’s banger.
