Founded in 1758, Samuel Smith’s Old Brewery is a historic Yorkshire brewery known for traditional cask ales, stouts and organic beers. Brewing in Tadcaster since 1758, it remains one of Britain’s oldest independent breweries, preserving heritage methods and distinctive, characterful pub experiences. Their Organic Chocolate Stout has been one of our best selling beers for many years. When they were first exported to the USA in the late 1970s, many of their beers were hugely influential to the first wave of American craft brewers.
