Munich's State Brewery, Hofbräu, is owned by the Bavarian state. It has a royal history and owns Hofbräuhaus am Platzl, Hofbräukeller, and a large Oktoberfest tent. They brew various beers from Wilhelm V's recipes, including Weißbier, Helles, Maibock, Dunkel, and Oktoberfest lagers.
