A rich and intense dark Belgian ale, dark ruby in colour, and very complex. A clean dryness combines with a full-bodied mouth feel and a rich dried fruit character. Bottle conditioning means this can be aged, and will evolve over time.
Brewed again in its hometown of Bruges, Tripel is a 9% amber coloured ale, with a subtle mixture of 6 different kinds of malt. The taste is strong with a lot of hop (Saaz and Styrian Golding) of the best quality.Straffe Hendrik Tripel is a powerful beer with lots of flavours.
